DIY Pit Stop, by Robert Biermann. diypitstopapp.com

If you do not sign in, the garage stays on this phone. Vehicles, mileage, photos, and notes are not sent to an account.

When you sign in with Google, X, or email, the garage is saved to that account so it can come back on a new phone. That copy includes what you typed: nicknames, mileage, service notes, photos, and a license plate if you added one. Google or X only learns that you signed into DIY Pit Stop.

A VIN is sent to NHTSA, the federal recall site, only when you decode it or check recalls. A repair question is sent to Grok only when you ask one. That question includes the year, make, model, engine, mileage, and your notes. It does not include the VIN.

Lock-screen reminders store what is due so the alert can be sent. A backup file or a sent vehicle goes only where you send it, including the photos in that file.

DIY Pit Stop does not sell this data. There are no ads and no analytics tracker.

To delete the account, sign in, open Settings, and tap Delete this account. That permanently removes the sign-in, the garage saved to it, and the copy on this phone. A copy already saved on another phone stays there until you erase it on that phone.
